First of all, thank you so much for your incredible support! I’m thrilled to see that most of you have received your packages—delivered months ahead of our promised date. Your kind messages and posts have been a joy to read, so please keep them coming!
For those of you still waiting for your packages, I sincerely apologise for the delay. The Canada Post strike during the busiest shipping period of the year caused unexpected disruptions and increased costs. Rest assured, I’ve set aside bears from the collection specifically for situations like this to ensure everyone receives what they’ve paid for. Now... let's talk add-ons!
ADD ON SHIPPING CHARGES
As you may know, the pledges were shipped before the add-ons, due to delays from the manufacturers. While the quality of the add-ons are exceptional, these delays made it necessary to prioritise getting your main items out early.
I also ensured that you weren’t charged exorbitant shipping rates for your initial packages by subsidising a significant portion of the costs myself, as shipping prices were ridiculously high. However, now that the add-ons are ready to ship, we will need to process shipping charges for them separately.
🚨You will receive an email in the next couple of days with the exact amount you will be charged, and the charge will be processed a few days after that email is sent. If you have any questions or would like to cancel your add-on order, please email me directly at [email protected] as soon as possible.

BACKERKIT SURVEYS ARE COMING!
YOU WILL RECIEVE AN EMAIL FROM US TODAY with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU USED APPLE ID TO SIGN INTO KICKSTARTER
If you used your Apple ID to log in to Kickstarter, the BackerKit surveys will not be able to send to your Apple ID. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please direct message us on Kickstarter or email us at [email protected].
DETAILS ABOUT BAKERKIT SURVEY
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey.
When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond.
Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. Surveys will remain open for about 4 weeks until we need to lock the final counts for production.
SHIPPING UPDATE: FEB/MAR
Due to the volatility of shipping (and sales tax / VAT / GST) prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping a few weeks before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. Your card will be charged once at that time for any add-ons you add through BackerKit, and shipping. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you informed along the way!

SALES TAX/GST/VAT
VAT&SALES TAX will be each backer's responsibility once the product has shipped. If you are located in Canada you will be charged HST.

Right now, we’re just waiting for Kickstarter to finish doing their thing while we wrap up the last few details on shipping, production, and logistics. As soon as we’re paid out, we’ll hit the gas on production THIS MONTH!

In the next two weeks, you’ll get an email from us (via BackerKit) with a special link to your survey. NO need to make a BackerKit account—just fill out the survey as soon as you can so we can get your rewards in motion.
With shipping costs all over the place right now, we’re holding off on charging for shipping until closer to our ship date (Feb/Mar). That way, we can hit you with the most accurate prices. Here’s how it'll roll:
Coming soon: You’ll get an email from BackerKit to confirm your pledge and grab any extra goodies you want to add.
Later on: Right before fulfillment, you'll get another email to lock in your shipping info. You’ll pay for shipping at that point.
Heads up: Since we're not collecting VAT & Sales Tax upfront, these will be your responsibility, and you’ll receive those charges separately when your rewards are delivered. Except shipping for Canada... they will be charged GST upfront.

We’re officially 7 days out from the end of the Peter Kills the Metaverse Kickstarter campaign, and what an amazing journey it’s been! I cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible support you’ve shown—it’s been mind-blowing to watch this project come to life with your help.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on some really exciting things that I can’t wait to reveal as we approach the finish line. Oh, and here’s something fun—I’ve been busy painting boxes for the ultimate fast track signed bear, and every single one is a unique piece of art. If you’re feeling extra creative, you can even cut off the cover and, voilà, you’ve got yourself an original artwork!
